SOUTHERN COMFORT CAKE Submitted by: Mrs. Ross **Ingredients** 1 box yellow cake mix 1 3-1/2 box instant vanilla pudding 4 large eggs ½ cup cold water ½ cup vegetable oil 1 cup chopped pecans (optional) ½ cup Southern Comfort **Directions** Mix ingredients, pour into greased Bundt pan, and bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. While cake is baking, prepare glaze: 4 Tablespoons butter (not margarine) ¼ cup water ½ cup sugar ½ cup Southern Comfort (don’t use more otherwise the alcohol separates from the butter) Mix and boil glaze ingredients for 3 minutes, stirring often. Pour glaze over warm cake.
